Notes from the composer:

A collection of eight short pieces that Orlando Cotto recorded and then transcribed for publication. This music was inspired during my wife’s pregnancy with our son Luis Matthew, who has become a source of inspiration and strength. I composed the music with the intention to expose my son to the amazing sound of the marimba and the dynamic range of the instrument. As much as the music is very pleasant and easy to listened to, each piece is like a moving landscape, the understanding and the appreciation of the music changes with each listening.
